are these CRAZY or actually possible…

From S.E.T.I. to NASA a lot of theories have been posed on how to travel far in space.  This is one of the most debated and discussed topics in all of science.  How would extraterrestrials space travel?  Would it involve some type of compound that doesn’t necessarily exist like a di-lithium crystal? (bonus points if you know where that reference is from).  Here is an introduction from some professors on their theories:
