What Does the “Liquid Planet” Theory Mean for the Search for Aliens?

is this TOO out there?

This astronomical theory of space will make you scratch your head.  From string theory to the theory that the universe is one big vacuum there are differing ideas about this vast place.  And of course the theory of dark matter is in there too to make sense of what they assume is gravitational force when viewing galaxies and other formations that seem to differ from what they would expect.  Now let’s examine the superfluid concept:

The universe should be regarded as a liquid ‘superfluid’, claim scientists seeking to discover the fundamental nature of space.  Quantum mechanics is currently able to explain three of the four fundamental forces in the universe – electromagnetism, strong interaction and weak interaction – but does not explain gravity.

According to the latest theory, spacetime could be treated as a fluid. This model could allow scientists to work out how some forces move through space.  Waves, for example, use water as a medium through which to move.

Does this actually sound possible or is it too out there?  And are other life forms more likely to thrive if this is true?

Let’s look at some visuals of the liquid theory in the video on page 2
