the origins are STILL not known…

From crop circles to the SETI program there have been plenty of mysterious regarding things we may have or have not “detected”.  Even in the last year or less there has been updates about an “alien star” which is sending off some strange signals.  Here is another one to add to the mystery:

Exactly what may be causing the signal is hotly debated by scientists. Possibilities range from evaporating black holes to alien communication and merging neutron stars

“These events are one of the biggest mysteries in the universe,” said Carnegie Observatories’ acting director John Mulchaey.
“Until now, astronomers were not able to catch one of these events in the act.

Considering the vastness of space, the immensity of the cosmos we search, it seems unlikely that we would ever find evidence of extraterrestrial life in the form of beacons or radio messages.

Another phenomenon that is baffling astronomers are these FRBs or fast radio bursts.  Astronomers still can’t definitively pinpoint them.

And no matter who says they know, nothing is certain in terms of what is causing any of these.
