The 3 dimensions as we perceive them are length, width and depth.  Some people have theorized that the 4th dimension is time itself.  That may make sense in a way that we are traveling through infinite 3 dimensions in a forward fashion.  Although each sequential 3rd dimension we theoretically transition to is effected and has a lot of properties of the previous.  I.e. we are in it and look similar although may be one second older, are sitting in the same house etc.  It’s not like we are in a different house or starbucks every second into the future.
