Enormous Object Blocking An Unusual Star – Update

There was a buzz yesterday on the internet about a certain star that is like nothing anyone has seen..It is KIC 8462852 and there are objects or a sphere like formation blocking light like we have never seen:

And these dimming effects are significant. Scientists are reporting that at one point, the amount of starlight dropped by 15 percent, and then at another, 22 percent. And this tells us a whole lot, says Plait:

“Straight away, we know we’re not dealing with a planet here. Even a Jupiter-sized planet only blocks roughly 1 percent of this kind of star’s light, and that’s about as big as a planet gets. It can’t be due to a star, either; we’d see it if it were. And the lack of a regular, repeating signal belies both of these as well. Whatever is blocking the star is big, though, up to half the width of the star itself!”

Let’s find out more on possible explanations on page 2

Guaranteed to never lose suction lol 🙂 it’s really sad that whenever I hear/read the name Dyson, that that is all that I can think of.

An alien superstructure built around their sun due to a lack of inhabitable planets around it. If they were that advanced why wouldn’t they just find a suitable planet.

Literally nothing new in this article. Why hasn’t anyone mentioned the possibility that it has an asteroid belt and we happen to be looking at it through its ecliptic plane?

Probably used to extract energy from the star for a Stargate of some sort? Maybe a interstellar hub of some sort. Could be a number of things but I am assuming planet collisions created a massive cloud of debris.

Ya but to block out up to 22% of rhe light. They ruled space debris out bc if it were it wouldn’t account for the massive fluctuation of light exposure. My theory on that is the most implausible could be the most t of plausible. U been doing alot of reading on this particular article and the theories that have stemmed from it.

Not really I can come to my own theories. Regardless it seems like they are building to some type of disclosure. That is what a lot of this is about.

This is bad science reporting. The scientist (not scientists) that made a statement about aliens said that it could indeed be aliens but that is the very last thing we want to jump to.

I agree with Augustus. It’s all fake. And before you start making straw man arguments that you can’t prove yourself, you should look into WHO wants you to BELIEVE in space

I’ve seen planets through my telescope…..I suppose our governments put planet like objects a few miles in the sky out my window…..keep smoking the salts you crazy conspiracy bastards….lol

Disclose.TV has been reporting o. This for months its supposed to be a mega structure possibly for gathering light to power the planet. Its not simply based in the amount of light being blocked but the wavelength of light that is beak g mitted by the planet its an artificial spectrum of infrared light not generated naturally by anything ever observed in the cosmos but only by artificial means. That’s what all these sites are failing to mention its not a natural wavelengths so on top of a unusually dimming by a huge object of some kind it also has a artificial signature of emanating light much like you would see from earth if you were observing from 150,000 light years away

1500 years isn’t really long in the grand scheme of things if a species were advanced enough to undertake the building of a massive structure that litterally encircled the planet I would imagine they have an advanced understanding of how to prevent their own extinction. But it would be possible I guess they suffered some huge extinction event. Just as if they were witnessing our planet 1500 years in the past they would see no proof of intelligence or technology since no space craft of satellites or anything would even exist.

Interesting lil bit. If they were seeing our planet 1500 years in the past (due to distance and speed of light) they would be seeing the years 540 a.d which would have a large busty haze over earth as well apparently there was a volcanic event or comet impact that kicked up a global dust veil. U can read about it on Wikipedia

has everyone put into acount that structure ( if any ) is actually very old by the accounts that the light comming from the star takes lightyears to get here…. so its actually a very old view of whatever may be their now present moment.
