Apparently they have discovered a horde of galaxies so old, they are telling us things about a very early time in space universe as we comprehend it.  The ESO, like The Hubble is one of the most powerful telescopes in the world.  Although there are new ones being built, it has captured some of the most incredible pics to date.  They get into further detail about this very interesting discovery and what it could mean.
