Could Comet 67P Have Evidence Of Organisms That…?

Here is some more background on how this was discovered:

Rosetta, the European spacecraft orbiting the comet, is also said to have picked up strange “clusters” of organic material that resemble viral particles.

But neither Rosetta nor its lander probe, Philae, are equipped to search for direct evidence of life after a proposal to include this in the mission was allegedly dismissed.

Astronomer and astrobiologist Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe, who was involved in planning for the mission 15 years ago, said: “I wanted to include a very inexpensive life-detection experiment. At the time it was thought this was a bizarre proposition.”

This is absolutely incredible and if they did find total proof of aliens or organisms what would be the implications for the solar system and beyond?  And what about exoplanets do you think they are another solid area to examine?

thanks to sky.com for this incredible info

Here is a coo rendition of the comet with elements of data from NASA:

Here is another about the discovery with a few more angles including one commenter who thinks this is worth further discussion:

Thank you for addressing the mining..I just remember the discussions of that this is why they were going to the comet/asteroid ..but you do not hear them speaking of any of it now ..just thought i would remind everyone of the discussion years ago..

I do think and believe that asteroids and comets have organisms living on them, for each meteor that fall in the Pacific ocean, and the Atlantic ocean or any part of the world, there will be a new extraterrestrial life form growing from the meteors that fall to earth.Do you every see those ugly fisihes that National Geographics always showing on tv?…do you ever question if they extraterrestrial?
