Guy Makes a Lego Tank with WiFi Powered by Arduino

Ok what’s cooler than legos and tanks?  How about a wifi controlled lego tank made at home and controlled by arduino!  The maker has a brief description here:

A Lego tank that is controlled over Wi-Fi with an #arduinoAtHeart. Features include full remote control, automatic and manual front head-light control, 12+ shot rubber-band guns, full suspension, automatic serial timeout, and live video-feed capabilities.

Could you imagine the future of toys and competitive games with robots?  And you could even track the score and share them online and brag to your friends who won.  You could also make augmentations to even things up and add sensor trackers for damages, strikes and however you wanted to score things.  Mecha Monsters started a similar concept although they are not customizeable like a home built lego version.

Let’s watch this awesome tank in action in the video on page 2
