This guy starts off with a bit of Daft Punk “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” sounding just like the real song and then gets into a bit of the supplies to make this at home.  I am seriously tempted to try to make one of these.  Here is what he seems to use:

• One mac and he does not specify an operating system it probably doesn’t matter
• One ethernet cable
• 17 cans of coke (16 regular one black)
• One adruino board
• Wires attached to each can of coke then connected to his arduino board
• Looks like he uses a Python repository to run this thing

Btw can you imagine the concerts and DJs of the future?  Do you think Skrillex and Daft Punk will be performing at Coachella with arduino run devices in the future?  The best part of open source hardware and software systems like this is that more people will learn to make stuff and become inspired to create.  Think of how far we have come since the PDP-1 computer sold for $120,000.
