Guy Makes RFID Garage Door Opener Using Arduino

If you’re an arduino fan or just learning, or havent’t heard about it here is a breakdown.  Arduino is an open source microcontroller that you can program to do amazing things.  Their boards are inexpensive and have a wide array of configurations such as the Ethernet Shield, Yun, Leonardo, Wifi Shield and more.  The basic functionality of this home invention is scanning an rfid tag and if the key is authorized then the relay will allow you access to the garage or door.  Right now he has two keys, one which is programmed and one which is not authorized.  The home inventor’s name is Jason Hamilton.  The fact that arduino is open sources hardware has given rise to a big community of enthusiasts.
