It is not everyday that an actual rocket engine is assembled at home. NOTE: DO NOT TRY THIS WITHOUT THE SUPERVISION OF A PROFESSIONAL. Even if you are versed in these things be safe. The experimenter in the video states he made it for demonstration purposes and notes this:

Solid-fuel rockets cannot be throttled or shut off, which makes them difficult to control.

He also lists out some of the parts and processes he uses to assemble this device.
