Home Experimenter Makes a “Neoball Resonant Spinner” and its AMAZING

have you ever seen one of these?

When he fires this thing up it makes a bizarre sound.  A lot of these home made efficient energy devices have really unusual configurations.  Many are based on the “Rodin coil” style and variations of that.  Some have cross hatch patterns and some are shaped like stars.  This particular one is fairly powerful.  Here is a basic tech overview of this one from the inventor:

Using a Randy Powell 18×36 Rodin Coil geometry to spin a 1/2 inch neoball. It will go up to about 50,000 RPM. The cool thing here is it spins a very long time after the power is disconnected for unknown reasons. There seems to be resonances setup between the rotating ball and the coil which act to reinforce each other. Also, the Neoball will merrily spin in the cup up to 15 feet away from the coil for some time with no power to th circuit. That is also remarkable. I’ll be testing other coils for this effect also

Have you seen one like this before and/or do you have a favorite configuration style?  Perhaps the “spooky” configuration or something else?

Let’s watch him start this thing and hear a crazy sound in the video on page 2
