Ever wonder what happens when two black holes collide?  This video shows some older theories and some newer knowledge and visuals on what it might look like.  It’s pretty awesome and here is an intro:

Professor Kip Thorne discusses some of the newest theoretical findings into what happens when 2 black holes collide and merge in space and what happens to the fabric of spacetime in the vicinity of this extremely violent event.

This just sounds cool and it is actually hard to get your mind around this.
