Last week there was a big brouhaha about a mysterious formation on the mini planet/asteroid Ceres. It looked as if there was a pyramid but astronomers and science fans are not sure. Here is more info on the latest updates:
The closer we get to Ceres, the more intriguing the distant dwarf planet becomes. New images of Ceres from NASA’s Dawn spacecraft provide more clues about its mysterious bright spots, and also reveal a pyramid-shaped peak towering over a relatively flat landscape.

This is really cool
I am thinking they may have spotted a crystal ofbsome type.. Not a pyramid but a mineral that has shown itself outside the surface because it is swept clean of debris de to solar winds and such since there is no atmosphere to deflect those..

Space shuttle missions, because we have no use for them really anymore. We hitch rides to the ISS with Russia mostly now. They still run satellites and send them up once in awhile. NASA is too important to simply disband altogether.

I would say that’s the most plausible explanation. All though it doesn’t explain the lights at night.
