This is a topic I have had much interest in for a long time. Thank you for the video, I just wanted to help all the people asking the same question how we know about planets in other galaxies is mostly due to cameras and computers. Of course not the kind of camera you have likely ever seen but since we have never even gotten drones out of our own galaxy we have developed computers that essentially guess what elements they are looking at (because frankly and most likely there are elements that we could not program since we have never seen) and we gather most of our information that way. However we do have drones in space that are intended to leave the galaxy eventually.  I hope that helps people but I summed this up if you want a more technical explanation you aught to use your internet for more than youtube.
