Who Wants to 3D Print a Lightsaber? Here’s How

He tries this model on a filament printer and each part looks really clean.  The precise thickness is impressive with these 14 pieces that snap together.  Some parts will take a little glue and fit together easily.  The final part in the assembly is impressive in that it clamps together and is fairly flexible.  The calculator bubble slide in easily and it can hold a light in the handle.

They briefly flash a link where you could get info which looks like youmagine.com/designs/star-wars-lightsaber-complex-version

If you want to get clever you could also do a home painted and weathering job on the handle.  Some metallic paints that you could get at Michael’s if they have it in your area or Amazon or any craft store could make it very cool.  And the most important part, what type of laser beam would you attach to this 3D printed model?  If is is a powerful pointer you’d definitely need goggles when using.  Enjoy the video.
