Would you ride one of these?

New hoverboard style devices are revolutionizing the way people travel in cities.  Back in the mid 1990s and even the 2000s, a few some people might remember the much anticipated launch of the segway.  Jeff Bezos from Amazon.com and other influential CEOs touted this as an incredible invention that could change the way cities are planned.  The inventor is Dean Kamen and he has been responsible for a lot of additional innovative devices in his career.  The main obstacle though is the original segway is not completely portable.  That is kind of an understatement.

Now, in Japan, they have come up with a transport device that can be carried in a bag.  This is really exciting.
