One commenter is very enthusiastic as he had never heard of these:

This is amazing. I’ve never heard of Sprites before this. It’s really interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bolt of lightning strong enough to generate a Sprite. I want to see one very badly, though.

Another commenter is skeptical and had this to say:

This documentary contains a fair amount of [bleeped out]  . For example, not only do the makers falsely represent the earth’s atmosphere by omitting the thermosphere and exosphere, they also regard ‘airglow’ to extend to the far reaches of our atmosphere; to the edge of space about 600miles. We all should know from wiki page on earth’s atmosphere that the outermost layer, the exosphere extends to about 6,500 miles and this is really where space begins! It seems science, like many other doctrines can move the goalposts whenever they feel like it to accommodate new information etc. Now to me, that’s very unscientific!
