Decoding the Mystery of the Universe

The comments are very interesting in the thread and here are two of the more inquisitive ones.

Commenter “D F” had this to say in response to the video:

Information hasn’t any specific coding rule,we need one to handle it and of course the binary is the most elementary and useful to our technologies but the question was about why we use the decimal system thinking is the best.Is the best for our brain because of our biology and evolution even if we can easily handle binary if we know how it works.

Commenter “A H” makes an interesting observation:

Math is a representational language, as drawing is representational of actual objects. But if when something is drawn multiple times by multiple people, it begins to look as if it is describing something very particular and not abstract. An apple perhaps. This indicates an underlying order, or a pre-existing object called an apple. Math points to order, and is like poetry describing that order in different symbols and equations, which by the way show balance in everything. Math points to a universal language, that is pointed to by math. I’d like to find that underlying language and speak it, not just represent it in a metalinguistic manner. Just as not every drawing is a perfect representation and is restricted or marred by opinion, perspective and error, so not every piece of math is a perfect representation of the underlying properties, but it is an indication that a more perfect form of symmetry exists out there, and encourages us to find a better way of representing it in a manner that is closer to its purer form.

If nothing else, this is intriguing and we hope you enjoy the video.
