The Mekong Delta in Vietnam is home to over 1,000 species of fish.  Now there are some huge fish being caught in this region and inquiring minds want to know why?  More large fish are caught out of here than anywhere else in the world, possibly because of the river’s large expanses of flood plain habitat.  No one knows how many of these are left in the river.  They are becoming more rare possibly because of over fishing.  The giant fish even been depicted in ancient art
